At the age of 13 and 30 years old, Taylor and Laura Miller became diagnosed with celiac disease, an auto-immune disease that prohibits the body from digesting gluten. The only treatment for this disease is a gluten free diet. Since then, their health journey has transformed. Taylor and Laura, a mother-son duo, launched GlutenAway in 2013. GlutenAway has since become one of the largest gluten-free marketing companies in the health industry.
As Taylor and Laura's lifestyle evolved, they started to notice that not only did gluten affect their bodies, but many other foods did too. GMO's, meat, dairy, artificial sugars, grains, and many other items played a contributing factor affected their overall lifestyle just as much as gluten did. Since realizing that this evolution applies to many people wanting to live a healthier lifestyle, HaleLife Bakery was born.
